JB WilliamsCBS News ran an internal internet poll asking Americans to grade the Obama administration on performance in the key areas of federal government. CBS didn’t dare report on those findings, but as of this writing, you can still vote in the CBS poll and see the staggering results here.

The results are currently as follows:

  • Economy—70.4% – F
  • Foreign Policy—61.8% – F
  • Health Care—81.6% – F
  • Terror Threat—65.2% F
  • Energy & Environment—59.2% – F
  • Social Issues—57.7% – F
  • Bipartisanship—80.6% – F
  • Afghanistan—83.1% C or lower—31.2% – F
  • Iraq—86.5% C or lower—35.7% F
  • Obama Overall—89.4% D or lower—63.4% F

Only 2.82% of CBS fans gave Obama an A for overall job performance and CBS is no bastion of conservative readers

In November 2008, approximately 52% of American voters elected Obama as President. On inauguration day 2009, 67% of Americans said they were hopeful about the new “messiah,” 41% showing “strong support” for the newly elected resident of the people’s White House.

Thirteen months later, only 23% “strongly approve” and 40% now “strongly disapprove” of the Obama administration, according to Rasmussen Daily Tracking poll, which appears much kinder towards Obama than the CBS News poll that even CBS won’t write about.

No American administration is U.S. history has fallen from favor so fast…

Heads are Rolling

CNN reports that 63% of Americans want everyone in congress fired, which makes the “progressive” run congress even more unpopular than Obama. Support for congress is down to between 8% and 18%, depending upon which poll you look at on which day.

It’s official, we have the most unpopular federal government in 235 years of U.S. history and heads must roll.

“Progressives” are dropping out of re-election bids like flies in a vacuum sealed container. Obama’s campaign help has been the kiss of death for Democrat candidates in New Jersey, Massachusetts and Virginia. A recent campaign stop in Las Vegas to help Sen. Harry Reid’s failing bid for re-election is driving Reid even deeper into trouble.

Byron Dorgan (D) and Christopher Dodd (D) have announced unscheduled retirement due to unhappy constituents back home who intended to put them on the unemployment line come November. Even more moderate Sen. Evan Bayh (D) has announced his retirement, despite leading in the polls and $13 million in his campaign war chest.

Putting a fine point on his reasons for leaving, Bayh stated—“After all these years, my passion for service to my fellow citizens is undiminished, but my desire to do so by serving in Congress has waned. For some time, I have had a growing conviction that Congress is not operating as it should. There is too much partisanship and not enough progress—too much narrow ideology and not enough practical problem-solving. Even at a time of enormous challenge, the peoples’ business is not being done.”

Two of the nation’s most progressive members of congress passed, Sen. Ted Kennedy (D) and Rep. John Murtha (D). Another will be leaving due to health concerns, as 86 year old New Jersey Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D), announces a diagnosis of stomach cancer.

Rumors of a coming shake-up in the White House staff persist, and no Obama insider appears safe at the moment, with mounting public pressure to walk away from the heavy-handed Pelosi partisanship that has left the people’s business tied up in DC gridlock like never before.

Nobody’s Messiah Now

Obama can’t get a passing grade in any category today, and the Pelosi led congress is even more unpopular than what’s left of the man who was called a “messiah” only a year ago.

At any other time in U.S. history, predicting a complete Republican sweep in the 2010 mid-term elections would be a done-deal and no Vegas odds-maker would dare take a bet to the contrary.

But 2010 is the year of the Tea Party…

Inside the beltway politicos are growing increasingly desperate to figure out exactly who these Tea Party folks are, and what they really want. It’s not hard to figure out though…

The Tea Party is made up of the 48% of Americans who voted against this mess in 2008, plus about half of the people who fell for Obama’s centrist sounding campaign rhetoric only to find out after inauguration day, that they had elected a Marxist wrecking ball to power. The Tea Party represents most Americans of all political stripes, though all constitutionally conscious and it can’t be hijacked or controlled by either political party. So, it must be put down!

Hence, news of the Clintonistas cranking up the old war-room for an all-out counter-attack on the Tea Party movement demonstrates just how concerned the progressive left is, at a time when it appears that Democrats are not only likely to be replaced with Republicans, but constitutional conservatives…—God forbid!

The heavy Marxist hand of Obama, Pelosi and Reid have certainly awakened the sleeping giant and Carville and McAuliffe hope to put a choke-hold on the movement before millions of angry Americans can successfully snuff out the current march to Marxism (aka progress).

Meanwhile, even the most far left core supporters of the Obama-nation movement have lost hope for the kinds of change they thought certain with control of all branches of the Fed in their death grip.

Code Pink is angry over Obama’s surge in Afghanistan, which might be the only correct thing he’s done since taking office, and the fact that he has made no progress in pulling out of Iraq, a war that was “illegal” under Bush, in the minds of Code Pinkos.

MoveOn is so desperate for a “new messiah” that even rocker John Cougar Mellencamp offers more hope from his little pink house, than Obama offers from the White House.

International socialists demanding the closure of Club Gitmo and civil rights for known terrorists are disappointed that Obama has dropped the ball on setting those terrorists loose after an OJ Simpson styled public lashing of the US Military.

Nothing has gone well for Obama. He can’t even address his kids at the dinner table without a teleprompter and as a result, people who foolishly placed their faith in a man from nowhere with a blank résumé a little over a year ago, find themselves waking up to a nightmare of monumental proportions today.

And, since Obama & Co. have never run anything before, they have no idea how to run the country now. Despite holding back 2/3 of the stimulus money to be spent during the election year, aimed at creating another false impression of economic improvement before the election, things can only get worse when spending us deeper into debt seems to be the only solution for every problem.

Higher taxes, more regulation and deeper debt spell disaster no matter what business you’re in… Only if you live inside the DC beltway can you make any sense of that strategy.

But most Americans don’t live inside the DC beltway, and as DC elitists cinch the debt belt tighter and tighter around the neck of the average American, sooner or later, there will be no place to run and no place to hide.

From hero to zero in a single year – No former U.S. president has ever fallen from grace faster.

Prior to Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter was the most unsuccessful president in U.S. history. But even Carter looks bright compared to Obama…

With or without his traveling teleprompter, he’s nobody’s messiah now…

March on Washington to tell president to quit

February 21st, 2010

WND
by Bob Unruth

Organizers of a new march on Washington are offering Americans the opportunity to show President Obama their birth certificates and declare that unless he produces documentation of his eligibility to occupy the Oval Office, he should quit.

The event is headed by Philip Berg, the first to bring court challenges to Obama’s eligibility under the U.S. Constitution’s requirement that presidents be a “natural born citizen.”

While a number of cases, including several of his own, remain pending, Berg told WND today the issue needs to be pressed.

“Since the courts are taking their time to get to the point of allowing ‘discovery,’ it is time to motivate the citizens of the United States for a ‘peaceful revolution’ to expose the ‘hoax’ of Obama, the biggest ‘hoax’ in the history of our country, in over 230 years,” he said.

Berg, who publicizes his cases through his ObamaCrimes.com website, said the planned “Birth Certificate March on Washington” will demand Obama resign.

A date and other logistical details of the march are to be announced within a few days, Berg told WND.

He’s also asking all citizens to e-mail, fax or mail a copy of their own birth certificates to him to present to Obama. The president should resign, he said, “because he has failed to produce his long form birth certificate to show he is ‘constitutionally eligible’ to be president.” (He said if people choose, they could black out private information.)

The copies can be e-mailed, fax to 610-834-7659 or mailed to: 555 Andorra Glen Court, Suite 12, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444-2531.

“We will be preparing them to deliver to Obama demanding that he resign from the office of president as he has not proven that he is ‘constitutionally eligible’ to be president,” Berg said.

“I am proceeding for the 305 plus million people in ‘our’ U.S.A., for ‘our’ forefathers and for the 3.2 million men and women that have died and/or been maimed defending our Constitution,” Berg said.

The Real Threat to America’s Health Care: Obama and his Administration

February 20th, 2010

The PROPAGANDA:

wh logo

Good Afternoon,

A lot of people think that health insurance reform doesn’t matter to them because they already have coverage. And it’s easy to understand why some Americans might resist changing the insurance system for fear that significant reform would threaten what they have now.

There is a threat to health care coverage in the country, but it isn’t reform: it’s doing nothing. Rising costs of insurance premiums are pushing more and more people into the ranks of the uninsured.

At a time when health insurance companies are fighting as hard as ever to stop health reform, their actions couldn’t show more clearly why we need it.

In California, beneficiaries recently received letters from Anthem Blue Cross announcing their rates would go up as high as 39 percent. Elsewhere, in the last year alone, large insurers have requested premium increases of 56 percent in Michigan, 24 percent in Connecticut, 23 percent in Maine and 20 percent in Oregon.

If we don’t pass reform, premiums will continue to rise and Americans will continue to be at the mercy of the worst insurance company practices and abuses.

We’re closer than ever to making reform a reality. We can’t let up now.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Sebelius
Secretary of Health and Human Services

The TRUTH:

Excuse me Ms. Sebelius,

The Real Threat to America’s Health Care?… Please simply look in the mirror!

Neither you nor anyone else in the whole failed current administration has room to speak of financial matters. Matters that require ethical, moral and responsible accountability.

Certainly by even the lowest possible standards of evaluation, standards that might be achieved by those who would be called upon to demonstrate financial restraint and responsibility seem to totally escape detection in your administration.

Just look at the record…with one failed program after another, the Obama team of intellectual advisors have done absolutely nothing to deliver any type of credible performance. I expect that this is to be expected; Mr, Obama himself had never demonstrated he had ever successfully managed any process.

Taking this incredible level of incompetence even further, your team, the “Team of the immaculate deception” have even failed at successfully providing any credible evidence that Mr. Obama is even qualified to act in the capacity as the commander in chief and the CEO of America.

So tell me Ms. Sebelius, on what authority do you even dare to speak to these issues of healthcare? Certainly you or none of the rest of the Obama team seem to be qualified to address anything.

Where should I begin:

  • GM Take over
  • Chrysler Take over
  • Cash for Clunkers
  • Acorn
  • Americorps
  • Bank bail-out
  • Financial Institution bail-out
  • Housing market bail-out
  • Exceeded the debt ceiling and had to raise it to a new unheard of level (Xmas Eve maneuver)
  • Mismanaged the war effort
  • Continued violation of the Constitution
  • Continued effort to impose censorship
  • Using public funds to payback political favors
  • Waging internal war on military personnel doing their job
Violating reasonable judicial practices by trying war criminals as civilians
  • De-emphasizing the crime of terrorism

Would you like me to go on?

What is really unfair, Ms. Sebelius is you representing to people who can ill afford to be further disappointed and taken any more unfair advantage, that you have solutions. When in fact, you don’t! Even your best conceived plans do not reform healthcare. You are simply carrying out an act of treason on the people of this great country. To put it succinctly, what you are advocating will be amounting to nothing more than an exercise in futility; essentially rearranging the deck furniture on the Titanic!

I am sorry Ms. Sebelius, you have not only lost contact with the people you purport to serve but reality as well. Save us all a lot of trouble and just hang it up!

Tea Party protests continue to grow, retroactively

February 20th, 2010

WARNING: This is a progressive left moonbat posting on Media Matters. What really caught my eye was the claim that only 100,000 or so people showed up at the Washington DC march. What kind of glue are these guys sniffing? I distinctly remember a DC park’s person saying he couldn’t ever remember such a large crowd before!

Here’s the story:

Tea Party protests continue to grow, retroactively

Over the weekend, Instapundit’s Gleen Reynold unccorked the claim that over the past twelves months “millions of Americans” had taken to the streets to protest the Obama administration. The problem? Rather than millions, the actually number is probably in the low six-figures.

Oops.

But mere facts have never stopped Glenn Beck, of course. So yesterday he endorsed the Reynolds fabrication and wallowed in the wonder of the “millions and millions of tea party people” who protested last year.

Punchline: Beck made the phony crowd claim while critiquing the New York Times’ supposedly inaccurate Tea Party reporting!

UPDATED: Also last night on Fox News, Tea Party organizer Karin Hoffman eagerly spread more falsehoods about protests, claiming 1.7 million people showed up in D.C. last September. According to official crowd estimates by D.C. officials, that number misses the mark by 1.6 million. [DC officials never said any such thing -- emphasis mine]

Please note, the Tea Party movement is now building itself around an obvious, and provable, lie. Will the press ever point that out? [so this liberal is worried about the Press pointing out a lie -- more Koolaide anyone? -- emphasis mine]

source: Media Matters for America…

Here dip-head: take a look at this cell-phone “live” photo. Tell me only 100,000 showed up? This was taken on the main rally day.. the police were closing down incoming roads because of overcrowding. You didn’t see this on your puny Media Matters website or even FoxNews. The MSM wouldn’t even cover the event.

Obama praises Sen. Reid in Nevada trip

February 20th, 2010

Reid and BOHENDERSON, Nev. — Days before hosting a health-care summit with Republicans and Democrats, President Obama made a fervent push for his overhaul, calling it critical for the country’s economic well-being.

“It is vital for our economy to change how health care works in this country,” Obama said Friday at a town-hall meeting in a school gym.

He said the drawn-out effort on his top domestic priority has cost him politically and undercut the standing of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada.

Obama was in Nevada to help the Senate leader survive a tough re-election fight this year, a race that could have a big impact on the balance of power in Congress.

The president’s bipartisan summit is Thursday. He dared Republicans to present a proposal addressing the uninsured and rising medical costs, rather than merely saying no to Democratic approaches.

The Nevada appearance was billed as focusing on the economy but turned into an extended campaign plug for Reid, seen as one of nation’s most vulnerable incumbents in the November elections. Reid introduced Obama then sat behind him, basking in each applause line.
