At this rate, Copenhagen is going to turn into a comedy convention with the real world laughing at these liars. Now is the time to mount massive resistance to the petty tyrants and hit them where it hurts – in the wallet. Further down the line there may be, in many countries, a question of criminal prosecution of anybody who has falsified data to secure funds and impose potentially disastrous fiscal restraints on the world in deference to a massive hoax. It’s a new world out there, Al, and, as you may have noticed, the climate is very cold indeed. Another World Is Possible: What You Should Know Before the Copenhagen Summit.

It is now clear that Hampton and Clark were victims of a plot hatched by the FBI and executed by the Cook County State’s Attorney and Chicago police officers. Permalink What festive cheer will the West bring to the Holy Land this Christmas?

The weasel words of Britain’s politicians who pretend to care for the Gaza Strip’s civilian population while supporting Israel’s criminal, genocidal policies, and the rank hypocrisy of its churchmen whose silence over the plight of the Strip’s Christian and Muslim communities speaks volumes about their lack of principles. The UK is now in the grip of festive fever as the nation prepares for the customary annual binge called Christmas. Despite the recession families are being urged to spend, spend, spend on an excess of food and alcohol and extravagant presents. For them there is also the luxury of unrestricted travel to see relatives or take a foreign holiday. A far cry from the kind of Christmas that’s possible in the illegally occupied and blockaded territories of the Holy Land.

Permalink Signed In Blood: 2002 Blair-Bush Texas meeting sealed Iraq fate

Saddam Hussein’s fate as Iraqi leader was sealed at a secret meeting between Tony Blair and George Bush in 2002, it was claimed yesterday. The former Prime Minister allegedly "signed in blood" Britain’s support for an attack on Baghdad when he got together with the US president [sic] at his Texas ranch. And Mr Blair deliberately linked Saddam to al-Qaeda in a bid to strengthen the case to topple Saddam, despite there being no evidence, the Iraq War inquiry heard. Former British Ambassador to the US Sir Christopher Meyer told the hearing the PM suddenly appeared to agree to the case for a regime change in Iraq after his Bush meeting. Talking about the meeting with Mr Bush, Sir Christopher said: "To this day I am not entirely clear what degree of convergence was, if you like, signed in blood at the Crawford ranch." According to The Washington Post, quoting an unnamed official, there are some 75 prisoners in this "fifth category." And the administration’s position is that these people are untriable because the "evidence" against them [there is no evidence] was obtained through torture or because public trials would involve and potentially expose an unacceptable volume of "classified material". This "classified material" would expose the fact that these people have been completely destroyed by torture. Obama will do all that he can to keep this secret.

Permalink Obama Wants Computer Privacy Ruling Overturned

The Obama administration is seeking to reverse a federal appeals court decision that dramatically narrows the government’s search-and-seizure powers in the digital age.

Solicitor General Elena Kagan and Justice Department officials are asking the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to reconsider its August ruling that federal prosecutors went too far when seizing 104 professional baseball players’ drug results when they had a warrant for just 10. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals’ 9-2 decision offered Miranda-style guidelines to prosecutors and judges on how to protect Fourth Amendment privacy rights while conducting computer searches.

Kagan, appointed solicitor general by President Barack Obama, joined several U.S. attorneys in telling the San Francisco-based court Monday that the guidelines are complicating federal prosecutions in the West. The circuit, the nation’s largest, covers nine states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
